J Travis Cooper (They/Them) is a queer black musical theatre based out of Norfolk, Virginia. They have a rich Bass/Baritone voice are trained in Jazz, Tap, Modern, and Musical Theatre Dance Styles. Coming from a family of performing artists and teachers, they have a lifelong love for the arts and completed the B.A. Musical Theatre Program at James Madison University as an Honors Scholar. They were recently seen in the Underground Performing Arts Collective's A Soulful Christmas. In their free time, they are studying Intimacy Direction with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and streaming on Twitch here.

J Travis was recently seen in the Underground Performing Arts Collective's production of A Soulful Christmas at The Zeider's American Dream Theatre. They held down the show as a the Announcer and Stage Manager, and gave groovy moves and tunes as a wonderland dancer and member of the Sensations. It was a wonderful foray back into the discipline of performing and they hope to work with UPAC more as they explore the opportunities in Virginia.
